The Govt has approved a national mission for self-sufficiency in pulses (2025-26 to 2030-31) with an allocation of ?11,440 crore to boost production, reduce imports, & stabilise prices. 2. The Govt has sanctioned 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas with an investment of ?5,862 crore, aiming to strengthen school infrastructure in underserved regions. 3. The govt has ordered the rollout of about 72,300 public EV charging stations under the ?10,900-crore PM E-DRIVE scheme. 4. PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Navi Mumbai International Airport, set to become Mumbai region’s largest air hub. 5. The Govt of India has granted environmental clearance for the 1,856 MW Sawalkote Hydro Electric Project on the Chenab River, a ?31,380 crore NHPC venture in Jammu & Kashmir. 6. The Center has launched a ?600 crore Kapas Kranti Mission to promote long-staple cotton through High-Density Plantation, the Kapas Kisan App, and farmer training. 7. India and Bhutan agreed to establish two cross-border rail links — Kokrajhar–Gelephu and Banarhat–Samtse — with a total investment of ?4,033 crore. 3.
