1.The Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray is set to be sworn in as Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Nov 28 and form a govt led by the MahaVikasAghadi, an alliance of Shiv Sena, NCP and congress in the state.
2.The Transgender protection bill,2019 was passed by the parliament. The bill prohibits discrimination against transgender person in employment, education, housing, healthcare and other services.
3. The ISRO has launched its earth Imaging and mapping satellite CARTOSAT-3 along with 13 other nano-satellite from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota.
4.The supreme court has asked the centre to take concrete decision within 10 days on having smog towers and anti-smog gun in Delhi NCR to combat pollution.
5.The Indian army has inducted Israel-made anti-tank guided missile (ATGMS) Spike along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir to bolster defence along the country’s border with Pakistan. 
6. The next 2+2 Dialogue between Indian and the US is likely to be held on Dec 18 in Washington. The two countries are expected to sign the industrial security annex (ISA) and review the steps being taken to operationalize the COMCASA agreement.
7. India’s first indigenously built advanced artillery gun system (ATGAS) with auto mated ammunition handling facility will be inducted in the army soon. The ATAGS comes with six round automated magazines capable of firing in 30 second.
8. United States has approved the sale of 133 MK45 naval guns and related equipment including spare parts, personal training, and other logistic support, for an estimated cost of $1.0210 billion to India.
9. The supreme court said that armed forces should consider granting permanent commission to women officers in armed forces under the short service commission(SSC) before march 2019. The army has notified to grant permanent commission to women officers, who join the forces under SSC, after march 2019.
