NEWS 19-04-2018. NEWS FOR 20-APR (FRIDAY) 1. per International Monetary Fund, India has been projected to grow at 7.4% in 2018 and 7.8% in 2019. It also held that India will again emerge as world’s fastest-growing major economy at least for the next two years. 2. Law commission of India has favoured the simultaneous conduction of elections to Lok Sabha and state assemblies. It will help in saving public money, manpower and remove security concerns. 3. Ministry of commerce and industry launched FIEO, a digital platform, for MSME exporters. It will help the exporters in increasing their network and improve their efficiency. 4. ia and Sweden have agreed to step up cooperation in cyber security and defence production. As per Commonwealth Innovation Index, India has been ranked 10th out 53 countries. The list was topped by UK, Singapore and Canada. 5.
