1.Govt of India has estimated that over 5,000 Indians are trapped in Cambodia, allegedly being held against their will, and forced to carry out cyber frauds targeting people back home.
2.The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has extended the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA) in certain districts of Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland for an additional six months, effective from April 1, 2024.
