Defence
1. The 30th edition of the Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX) has successfully concluded in Singapore. Enhancing partnerships between India and Singapore and mutual interoperability.
2. HAL handed over the twin-seater variant of LCA Tejas fighter aircraft to Indian Air Force in Bengaluru. It is a light weight all weather, multi-role 4.5 generation aircraft.
3. The IAF is enhancing its air defence capabilities by inducting indigenous Astra Beyond Visual Range (BVR) Air-to-Air Missiles by late 2023.
