Full scale production of the indigenous Light Combat Aircraft Tejas will begin by next year .By 2017-18 20 aircrafts will be built making it the first squadran. Indian Air Force will acquire 120 Tejas aircraft with four major modification i.e  ‘better radar, new electronic warfare suit, refuelling capacity & improved missiles’.

View –This 4.5 generation aircraft with supersonic capability at all altitudes,will be cost effective and improve India’s self reliance.
