A major breakthrough in the Rafale fighter air craft deal is in which the French side has agreed to invest 50% of this deal in ‘Make in India’ projects in the defence, security & aerospace sectors.

Investments worth $4.5 billion will be made. The 2 sides are now working towards drafting the Inter Governmental Agreement (IGA) to finalise the deal.
